Scientific Laminar Flow Clean Benches can be found in all manner of research and manufacturing facilities.  They are typically used in the electronic, medical and pharmaceutical fields. The primary function of a laminar flow unit is to protect products from contamination during laboratory procedures. The clean bench provides a high-quality environment within the work area for manipulating non-hazardous materials. These units are not capable of aerosol containment and are not suitable for handling toxic, infectious or sensitizing materials.
